38th Annual Labor Awards Banquet Saturday, July 12, 2008

The Georgia Labor Awards Committee chose the following deserving individuals for the 2008 Labor Awards:

The recipient of the Herbert H Mabry Organized Labor Lifetime Achievement Award is Reverend James Orange, AFL-CIO.
The recipients of the “True Blue” Award are Hugh Holloway, Graphic Communications Division International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 527-S and Carolyn Mackey, Savannah Federation of Teachers Local 2069.
These honors will be awarded at the 38th Annual Labor Awards Banquet Saturday, July 12, 2008 with cash bar Reception at 6:00 p.m. and Dinner at 7:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
